This plot investigation is designed to examine the influences of "reading plan", activities promoting metacognitive strategies before reading. After 2 pretests without "reading plan" and 3 experimental tests with it, the difference of learners' consideration was examined by questionnaire. The result suggests that "reading plan" is the most effective in the learners who are skilled in the bottom-up processing of reading to some degree and has not been in the top-down processing.
