Several devices for electromagnetic-energy scavenging have been already developed in the previous studies.They are mainly designed to collect the electromagnetic fields radiated from the broadcasting service andmobile phone system. One of the considerable problems for those studies is that electromagnetic-energyscavenging should be carried out nearby the facilities of transmitters. In this study, we propose newscavenging methodology of electromagnetic energy radiated from electrical equipments. In this method,electromagnetic field in power line frequency is especially focused on. In human habitation, there are a lot ofelectromagnetic sources in this band. Therefore, scavenging would allow us to carry out RF energyscavenging without spatial restriction. In this report, we present the monitoring system of electromagneticfield radiated from electrical power transmission system to evaluate the efficiency of energy scavenging inpower line frequency.
