This paper considers the Nationalist education movement and Education policy for Korean people of China government during the KANDO in the early stages of the Republic of China. Japan and China developed the policy which tried to put Koreans under its rule. China proclaimed "the educational method for unifying Koreans", and the "cost assisting method for Korean education", and it tried to achieve Koreans' assimilation through Chinese education while it managed the Korean private schools under the Chinese educational system. Therefore, Korean Nationalist education movement was enacted. This movement was mainly carried out by Nationalist groups and religious groups. It was carried out with emphasis on the establishment of the educational facilities consisting mainly of secondary education, educational system unification, textbook unification, etc. Secondary education organization was established one after another by this Nationalist education movement. Moreover, actual schools, in order to raise "independent thought" of national consciousness to students, Korean language, Korean history, etc were mainly taught.
