Social science studies have shown that the lack of serendipity may reinforce serious problems to our society, such as residential segregation, group polarization, or confirmation bias. We believe that with the emerging trend of the Web 2.0 services people are also losing serendipity in the digital world. How to design for serendipity becomes an important and challenging question for digital designers. In this paper we propose a new human power based solution to the described problem and present the design and implementation of a new crowd-powered system that aims to support and "reincarnate" the natural flow of the serendipitous information in the digital communities.
