Quadrupole Excitation of Tin Isotopes in Extended Random-Phase Approximation

The first excited states of tin isotopes are calculated using an extended random-phase approximation that is formulated using a correlated ground state obtained from the time-dependent density-matrix theory. It is found that the isotope dependences of the excitation energy and transition strength are well reproduced.
