Vladimir city is located near ment by Moscow. It is well known as the old capital in the 12th century. In this paper, I show three steps of develop of the city in its history. The Escapee from Rostov built Vladimir. Vladimir had been developed successfully by Yuri Dolgoruki, Andrey Vogolyubski and Vcevolod III between the 11th and 13th centuries. They ordered the building of many churches and tried to introduce Christianity. You can find that churches have reliefs on the walls in Vladimir and around the city. I have a lot of questions. Why were those walls decorated? Who gave the orders, and was construction completed? What kind of differences exist from Novgrod? Why did not Kiev allow an architectural culture like Vladimir? churches in Vladimir? I try to answer these questions and to show some tools in addition to photos and data. At last, I would like to analyze "intercultural communication." N.N.Voronin's thesis is very useful in my study. So I show you his work in Japanese. It is important that his work be included in intercultural studies.
