In this talk, we will discuss how the thermalization can be described by the probe D-branes approach in AdS/CFT correspondence. We will show that when we vibrate a probe D-brane, which is equivalent to an excitation in the dual CFT, an emergent horizon in the induced metric will be formed generally. We argue this describes the thermalization in the flavor sector of the dual CFT. This talk is based on the paper [J. High Energy Phys. 07 (2010), 071].
