System Design Approach derives a New type of Insurance

In this paper, we show an effectiveness of Scenario Graph which is one of the system design approach. Conventionally, Systems Design Methodology is used in product design but we transfer them from product design to service design. We take up a safety and security as research theme of system design approach and perform problem establishment and proposing solution. Firstly, by using KJ method and Pugh Selection, we determine important problems, which are concerned about the future of Japan such as increase of Hikikomori, which is the abnormal avoidance of social contact. Secondary, by using Scenario Graph, we derive new type of insurance as a solution, named Hikikomori insurance. Parents pay an insurance premium for their children and insurance company pays a cost for recovery program such as mental care and private tutor if insurance contractor's children become Hikikomori. Finally we have carried out verification of the solution.
