• This paper proposes the proper combination of recovering methods of waste plastic of daily life from the view point of plastics products producer. We explain the role of plastics containers and packages, characteristic of plastics and method of plastics recovery. Waste plastics from daily life are not suitable for material recycling, because they consist mainly of compounded materials such as laminated film and are not easy to remove adherent contents such as foodstuffs. We recommend waste plastics from daily life should be treated mainly with feedstock recycling or thermal recovery method.
