• It is necessary for improving the safety of a swing-type window to method of a stopper part considering an impact force induced by a gust of wind. The strong wind test was performed in order to measure the impact force induced by a gust of wind, and the characteristic of the impact force was clarified. The evaluation method of the impact force based on simple oscillation was proposed, For that reason we research the impact load on a window caused by wind. The stopper part is how damaged by the gust of wind, and think the dynamic load have destructive power. This research work is aimed at the establishment of a structural design for swing type windows under the gust of wind.
