This research addresses the projects of living room design in Taiwan as the examples and collects the participants' cognitive vocabulary of interior design by projective tests. After reorganization and coding, the vocabulary became the terms in questionnaire survey. We further allocated the related terms in the same factor by exploratory factor analysis. The research established four factors ("pragmatic functions", "material application", "spatial aesthetic", and "stylish characteristic"). We conducted confirmatory factor analysis by LISREL 8.72 to construct measurement model and expected to transform the scale into result-oriented measurement tool. This study digitalized the measurement model and calculated factors and overall measurement indices of different samples as the criteria to improve interior design quality.
