州都・福山実現に向けた戦略的課題に関する研究

• As everybody knows, the globalization has progressed during last two decades of 20c. And global size competition has also been strengthened with the fact. Japan is asked for restructuring on the many fields because of that environmental change. One of them is the local administration system. In 2006, a consideration committee of the govermment published the plan to introduce state system called "dou-syu-sei" instead of the existing local administration system that consists of prefectures and cities, towns and villages.Chugoku-Sikoku district that includes 9 prefectures will be bundled into one or two states.Fukuyama City that we now live in has population of about 460,000 and is a government decreed core city. And the City is wondered if it will become the capital city of the state because it is located in the center of Chugoku district.So I research objectively on possibility of Fukuyama city for becoming the capital city of the state and strategic tasks for Fukuyama city.
