• This study reviews the researches on the CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) technologies and the current technological activities in Korea by categorizing the electric power generation and solar fuel production. The solar power generation researches in Korea can be divided into two different systems; one is a solar power tower system and the other is a dish-type solar power generation system with a stirling engine. In addition, the current status of high temperature solar energy technologies and the futuristic development direction have been considered surveying the technology for generating the hydrogen, which will be the major energy source in the future, by the chemical reactions including the thermochemical cycle, methane-steam reforming, and methane-carbon dioxide reforming reactions.
