There are no doubts that the September 11^<th> disaster has changed the way we view the world. The implications of the terrorist attacks are rumbling across the globe and new challenges undoubtedly have been affecting us ever since. The business environment field is one of them. The distinction of the "Towers" in New York and the abandonment of nearby buildings as one of the consequences have drawn into sharp focus years of discussion on Business Continuity Planning (BCP). This paper will cover some of the important lessons learned from this unfortunate incident, to assist organizations who are facing new emphasis on implementing BCP programs related to Telework Projects, as it is the successful case of a company in Brazil, Nortel Networks, to be herein reported.
