It is a matter of question whether the organization that holds ISO9001: 2008 Quality management systems certification makes effective use of it in the actual operation. Some organizations seem to practice their QMS while being left in confusion by the unsure motivation for holding the certification or in embarrassments with finding special terms therein that are in no use ever in daily work. Managements of such organizations are advised to realize that the requirements of ISO9001: 2008 can be used effectively as a tool for their operation helping its QMS actually reflect on their own MS. This would be a hint for an organization to redesign or reconstruct its QMS that realizes management unifying the over all organization.
