By a study on the defects of G-equation for premixed flamlet model, a Burger's formulation is derived as an improved model which can explain a mechanism maintaining a flame width. The new equation is essentially the same as the progress variable equation based on HTA theory proposed by Inage et. al. Some additional investigations on the effects of temperature and viscosity variations in the flame.
