Mori et. al. have done studies by noting the modulation of turbulence caused by the particle that flows and rotates down the shear flow. Fug. 1 shows the structure of the whirl around the particle. This study is three-dimensional analysis of turbulence structure around particle on the basic of these facts. When we observed the flow by letting it flow down the channel, strong burst-like turbulence was seen in the flow around a rotating particle. This also means that burst-like turbulences are caused in 3D. We compared the upturn flow and rotating velocity (Fig. 5 and Fig. 6). It shows that upturn flow is weak when rotating velocity is large. When the particle rotates fast, current around it flow in the same direction, and this restrains the upturn flow. This is the reason of the negative correlation between the upturn flow and rotating velocity.
