概要

• Edney's IV shock-shock interaction is simulated by means of the DSMC (Direct Simulation Monte Carlo) approach. The problem is to study the impingement of a weak oblique shock on a stronger bow shock around a cylinder. The emphasis is placed on to the analysis of the sock-shock interference structure of a very low-density flow.
