Flow between a rotating and a stationary disk, which is called torsional Couette flow, is investigated. We focus on Spot, which appears intermittently in the transition state. Spot is visualized as a black spot in images using Kalliroscope flakes. The number of Spots increases with respect to local Reynolds number Re and depends on a gap between the both disks. In order to determine a variation of the number of Spots quantitatively, we tried to extract brightness information from visualized pictures. The distribution of Spot in the flow is revealed and critical Reynolds number of Spot appearing is estimated.
