This radio was designed to be used under times of an emergency evacuation and does not require a battery to operate. There is no need to worry about getting cut off in the middle of a radio reception. It is set to one channel to guarentee expediancy. By pulling wire of the radio, power is provided by a generater and recharged in a double electric condenser. A small built-in water proof speaker gives out a clear sound. Designed to be used under various circumstances, it is made to be both highly water and fire proof. It can float in water and still keep its electric circuits dry. With the whistle on the tip of the radio, the user can send off signals to let others know where they are. On the surface of the radio SOS in Morse code is embossed to assist the user under extreme panic when sending off the code with the whistle. There is space inside the radio to store a personal ID tag with the owners name, address and bloodtype. It is light enough to be worn around the neck. When it becomes unusable for any reason, it can be deposed with minimal waste.
