Recently CAI/CALL is gaining interest and research has been conducted to examine if the computer-assisted approach is more effective compared to the traditional approach. This paper reports the results of the author's first trial of using a computer program designed to help students to learn English stress patterns. The results afford clues for revising the courseware. This report might help those who are interested in designing such courseware.
