In order to understand the structure of the X(3872), the effects of the cc^^- charmonium core state coupling to the D^0<D^<0*>>^^^- and D^+ D^<-*> molecule states are studied. The strengths of the couplings between the charmonium state and the hadronic molecule states are determined so as to reproduce the observed mass of the X(3872). The isospin symmetry breaking is introduced by the mass differences of the neutral and charged D mesons. The obtained structure of the X(3872) is about 15% of cc^^- charmonium, 72% of the isoscalar D <D^*>^^^- molecule and 13% of the isovector D <D^*>^^^- molecule which explains observed properties of the X(3872) well. The transition strength S(E) of the weak decay B→X(3872)K is studied and the calculated spectrum is found to be consistent with the experimental observations. The effects of the coupling to the D^+_s D^<-*>_s state are also studied.
