Since time and carrier frequency offsets destroy user's signal orthogonality in Multi-Input Multi-output Orthogonal frequency division Multiple Access (MIMO OFDMA) uplink transmission, resulting in an interference-limited system, their estimation and correction are crucial to mitigate the Inter-carrier Interference (ICI), Inter-Block Interference (IBI) and Multiple-User Interference (MUI) to other users. In this report, the effect of the time offset on MIMO OFDMA uplink was analyzed. In order to optimize the system performance, the Signal-to-Interference-and-Noise Ratio (SINR) was derived based on the received signal at the base station (BS).
