Process of toner layer formation in non-magnetic single component development system of electrophotography is investigated. Experiments clarified the behavior of formed the toner volume and the toner charge with respect to rotation speed and voltage between the development roller and the supply roller. Numerical calculation of toner motion clarified the characteristics of the formed toner volume and the degradation of toner particles.
