This paper discusses the problem of testing and validating complex systems with handling of flexible media. Such systems often involve switching control algorithms and uncontrollable disturbances. Analytical methods fail because the computation of the reachable set is intractable. In this work, randomized algorithms are applied to validate a given complex system. We check if the system works as planned under the disturbances using simulation techniques. The approach represents an automated analysis alternative for systems where computing the reachable set is intractable.
