A design concept for highly dynamical micro milling machine tools is introduced. It intends lighter and more compact frames by compensating the dynamic dislocation. For this, the machine tool drives are used in combination with NC integrated real time simulation of the machine tool. The Dynamic dislocation is increased by a compliant design of the machine tool frame. This leads to a dislocation with lower dynamics making compensation accessible. The process dynamics of micro milling are analyzed and a test bench for proof of concept is described, showing, that the dynamic dislocation can be reduced extensively.
