• The development of the carbon dioxide ocean sequestration technology was begun by assisting NEDO as one of the reformative carbon dioxide reduction technologies that had been advocated in the New Earth 21 plan. Afterwards, it is advanced by the subsidy of METI. In a current research, the realizability of the ocean sequestration technology that suppressed carbon dioxide increase in seawater below the no influence concentration of carbon dioxide to the marine organism was suggested. On the other hand, the environment that surrounds ocean sequestration has changed greatly in London Convention and the OSPAR, etc. The research topics in the next step have been extracted based on the result of R&D and these situations.
