Privacy in business processes for personalized services is currently a matter of trust. Business processes require a delegation of personal data but users are not able to control their delegation. Users have to trust service providers that they will follow the agreed obligations for a delegation. The reason stems from the fact that privacy-enhancing technologies consider access control but not usage control on personal data. Exemplary applications are Customer Relationship Management and e-Health services with the electronic health record. We present an approach for usage control by a modified digital watermarking scheme to observe the enforcement of obligations concerning delegation of personal data without trust in service providers.
