• Additional shield is necessary to keep the shield effect behind a bore in a shielding wall. By means of calculations with the ray analysis method that point was determined, where the additional radiation dose amounts to 50% of the dose behind the undisturbed shielding wall and from its location the width of the additional shield is calculated and given in an analytical formula.
