Thermodynamics of a Novel Topological Black Hole in Lovelock Gravity(Astrophysics and Cosmology)

A physically novel black hole solution in Lovelock gravity is obtained by requiring a set of special coefficients of the curvature correction terms. It has a remarkable feature that it possesses characters of both Schwarzschild-like and (A)dS-like spacetimes. The thermodynamic properties associated with this new black hole are discussed. Some interesting phenomena appear for this black hole. We also discuss the conditions with which the black hole is stable against the Hawking radiation.
