We can understand everyday life-world as a unique sound and acoustic environment. Both life-world and environmental world are viewpoints and perspectives in my study of sociology of sound. This sociology is rooted in everyday experiences, environmental world, and each life history. Everybody is a earwitness in everyday life. Soundscape is coined by Canadian composer and music educationalist R. Murray Schafer. Uniqueness of each place or land also depends upon each soundscape[sound+(land)scape]. Soundscape is a viewpoint as well as a method or a proper practice. Including sociology of music and problems of noise, sociology of sound is not only a branch of sociology but also a form or a perspective of sociology of life-world. From sociological point of view sound is a key to understand everyday life and multiple realities. There is intimate connection between sociology of sound and sociology of sense or sociology of lived body. Soundscape is a new wave in contemporary urban studies or studies of everyday life. Sounds are necessary constitution of everyday human being. Various sounds are built in everyday world.
