We propose a novel computational technique for electromagnetic transient scattering problems. In our method, the scattered waves in the complex frequency domain are obtained by the method of moments and the waves are numerically transformed into the time domain using the fast inversion of the Laplace transform. In this paper, we investigate the computational accuracy of the proposed method and analyze scattered waves in the time domain for arbitrary shapes of cylindrical targets.
