Since Gyorgy reported as rat acrodynia on the specific dermatitis of the vitamin B_6 deficient rat, there have been many reports in the dermatological field discussing the therapeutical effect of B_6. As studies on acrodynia are many in the biochemical and physiological side, while less in the pathological and histological side, I discussed the analogy of the human seborrheic dermatitis with the cutaneous change of the experimentally B_6 deficient mouse. Specimen was examined by H. E. and alkaline-phosphatase chiefly on the skin of the abdomen, foot and ear respectively at the stage of the normal growth, initial appearance of skin manifestation and the acme. The main impressions were epidermal hyperkeratosis, parakeratosis, acanthosis and the inter as well as intracellular edema. The upper part of the dermis showed edems and vascular dilatations, and the follicular sebaceous glands were usually atrophic. The activity of alkaline-phosphatase was ultimately lowered. Though those cutaneous findings resembled the histological picture of seborrheic dermatitis of man, the follicular sebaceous atrophy was remarkably emphasized in rat's acrodynia. The autoradiographical studies with Tritium (^3H) pyridoxine hydrochloride administering to rats with acrodynia showed lesser B_6 in the skin than in liver, kidney and the other digestive organs in its distribution
