Experiments were carried out in 5 volunteers, without history of previous hookworm infection, to study the infection routes of both species of hookworms to the human host. Necator infections were transmitted into the duodenum using duodenal sandl to 4 volunteers, both hookworms infection in 1 volunteer. Attempts to establish Necator infections in 5 volunteers feiled competely, on the other hand Ancylostoma infection succeeded in the establishment of infestation by intestinal administration and the infective rate was 20 %. In the volunteers who were administered with N. americanus larvae alone there were neither subjective symptoms nor objective symptoms, whereas, in 1 volunteer with both species of hookworms larvae subjective and objective appeared during the 5th-30th day after the onset of this experiment.
