Mobile terminals used in the stationary condition experience a level variation different from that found in the moving condition. Therefore, it is very important to study the fading characteristics in this environment. This paper describes experiments on the fading characteristics of mobile terminals in outdoor NLOS environments in detail when they are used in the stationary condition while surrounding objects such as cars are moving; it validates an empirically derived expression that combines the autocorrelation function with the moving speed of surrounding objects.
