The result shows that association web is categorized into three types which are a type of spider-like web, spiral-like web and others, and that each type contains different types of cultural vocabulary used by the participants. Those in one of the types tend to use vocabulary of their second language without being interfered by their first language. On the other hand, in another group, learners' knowledge of second language affects first language. This study reveals that vocabulary acquisition is closely related with environment in which participants learn their target languages and that each learner have different ways of associating the words and using cultural vocabulary.
