To elucidate effects of meridian vessel function before and after Yoga, studies were made on 11 healthy volunteered subjects (female 8, male 3: age 30±4.5 year). In the first series, a 15-steps Yoga Asana was performed under the guidance of instructor. In the second series, Before Polarization (BP) values were adopted as an indicator of 12 meridian vessel functions and were determined by Electrodermal diagnostic instrument named the AMI before and after Yoga. In all subjects, averaged BP values of all meridians decreased and there were no markedly statistical significant changes in all BP values after Yoga. Conversion of all BP values into percentile data were made to perform the Principle Component Analysis (PCA) and to identify subgroups in all subjects. The result showed that either increase or decrease of the BP value in Liver and in Urinary Bladder meridians in all subjects were significant to identify subgroups after Yoga. From these findings, it is considered that a transient muscle fatigue intervened in the effects of Yoga and "Ki energy interaction" was concerned. This study suggested that these data obtained from AMI and PCA were valid for assessing effects of Yoga on meridian vessel function.
