概要

• Information Society has been described by the terms such as 'computer society', 'internet society' or 'ubiquitous society', all of which, by and large, implies technical and engineering connotation. On the other hand, information society is formed through the process identifying value in the information. Thus features and conditions required in the information are closely related to the value set. This paper addresses the importance of 'credibility' by exploring the features of the information and the price accrued from its value. Reliability, which resembles credibility, has been studied by the engineering approach in the context of its accuracy and appropriateness of the expression. In turn, this paper features the 'credibility' required for the information providers and its importance.
