Deng-Shiru(1743-1805) is one of the calligraphers who wrote a very important page in the history of Chinese calligraphy. From the mid Ganlong era to the early Jiaging era of the Qing Period, he displayed a unique talent and left a great impact on the modern seal-engraving art calligraphy as a calligrapher of the stele school. The "Da-Zhuan Yinfu-Jing" is the only work of Deng-Shiru written in Da-zhuan-shu letters. A particularly notable feature of Deng-Shiru's works resides in Zhuan-ke and Calligraphy to which is applied a revolutionary method of making use of the Li-shu writing style for writing Zhuan-shu letters. Deng-Shiru is recognized as the forerunner of calligraphers incorporating features of Jin-fen and Shi-gu-fen in their calligraphic works, which prevailed after the late Qing period. This study has been made for pursuing the distinctive feature and historical significance of "Da-shuan Yingu-Jing" written by Deng-Shiru, and showing a different side of Deng-Shiru.
