Recent Activities for the Intercultural Communication Program of EUSS and Salesian Polytechnic

In this paper we wish to report on recent activities of Salesian Polytechnic in the IUS (Salesian Institution for Higher Education). A lot of good work has been achieved since the international communication program of our project was launched. Among topics covered was a Real-time e-learning system dealing with Japanese traditional arts such as Kyogen. This paper will also report on our social visit to EUSS (Escola Universitaria Salesiana Sarria) in Barcelona, Spain, and it will explain how our demonstration was conducted using IT to connect EUSS with Salesian Polytechnic in Tokyo, Japan. This successful demonstration between these two institutes of higher learning has shown that it is now possible to co-operate each other to make further improvements to our studies.
