Color Doppler ultrasound is a well-known method to capture flow information. In order to reconstruct flow information from ultrasound signals, several procedures, such as 1D autocorrelation, FIR filter, IIR filter, and median filter, are required. Due to the high complexity and the great data amount, real-time Color Doppler ultrasound is hard to be implemented on pure CPU architecture. In this paper, a GPU-based algorithm with NVIDIA CUDA is proposed, and it provides ultra-high frame rate (160fps) in 500X500 pixels frame size.
