Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) have been promising variety of applications because of their outstanding physical properties originating in their unique structure. So far numerous attempts have been studied to synthesize them on a large-scale and two synthetic methods have almost come true. But there are unsolved problems in the methods. On the other hand, the method using alcohol as a carbon source is simple itself, and this can produce high quality SWNTs. In this study, new catalyst was developed in ACCVD method and optimal synthesis condition was considered comparing yield and quality to existing methods.
