To improve the positioning precision of unmanned formation-flying vehicles (UFFVs) in the perturbing environment, we propose a novel strong tracking positioning algorithm (PAST) based on joint space-time constraints. The space-domain geometric constraint information of the UFFVs is combined with the time-domain strong tracking filter (STF) by Lagrange multipliers to resolve the rank deficiency in measurement equation and enhance the spatial correlation of the UFFVs tracking. Monte Carlo simulation result shows that compared with the conventional STF method, the PAST algorithm can continuously track sudden change and its positioning precision increases 53% around.
