Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has completed its initial Calibration and Validation activities for the Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) launched on January 24th, 2006, and has been conducting routine operations since October 24th, 2006. ALOS's data acquisition, processing and distribution status will be presented. The products for disaster monitoring by using ALOS will be also introduced.
