• Kanagawa Prefecture is located in Southern Kanto Area where oceanic-plate subducts continental-plate, so great earthquake occured many times. Histolicaly, Great Kanto Earthquake and Western Kanagawa Earthquake occured at reccurrence. Therefore, Kanagawa Prefecture Government have been strongly promoting comprehensive earthquake disaster measures, and have studied earthquake disaster damege several times. After The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake disaster and Estimation of The Kannawa・Kouzu-Matsuda Active-Fault, Kanagawa Prefecture Government decided to re-study earthquake disaster damage for five earthquake-types from 1997 to 1998. The important point of this study are maked Scenario for coutermesures and caluculated needs of emergency policy.
