The purpose of the study is to discuss the significance of corporate professionals and to propose how to adjust properly human resource management to vitalize corporate professionals. In the nineties, knowledge instead of production technology came to be regarded as the source of competitive advantage for businesses. This means that professionals who handle knowledge are becoming more important for future management. To analyze ideal management systems, research and interviews of HR managers are conducted. Job specialties and their evaluation are also important issues to consider in a proper management system for professionals. Japanese corporations such as Casio, Nippon Roche and Nichirei have already introduced advanced HR systems for corporate professionals. Based on the survey, top directions, HR systems, and organizational support for job-specialties are found to be important factors for management in taking advantage of the specialties of corporate professionals.
