Along with these, information revolution, which is symbolized by internet, also demands reforms in management styles. For example, information literacy has become a prerequisite for good management. We should strive to achieve an ideal education system in the advanced informationsociety. NEC has recently put into effect reforms in its education programs as well as in its personnel systems. On July 1, 1997, two divisions of NEC Corporation, NEC Institute of Technology and NEC Technical College, were merged into NEC Institute of Management, Ltd..
