The invasive species Indoennea bicolor was first recorded on Mount Honmyoji-yama in Kumamoto City, Japan, in September, 2005. It was also found in the Ezu-ko area in August, 2006, and at some other places in Kumamoto City. There is concern that the distribution of Indoennea bicolor might be extended to the northern part of Kyushu Island in the near future.
