1025 Development of in-home sleep monitoring system for the evaluation of health condition

Health condition evaluation during sleep is of a great importance for detecting heart failures or respiratory disorders. Clinical systems of sleep monitoring such as polysomnography are expensive and impose the patients staying in a hospital for a whole night. In this study we try to improve the reliability of an easy-use in-home sleep monitoring system, which is developed in our laboratory for electrocardiography and respiratory monitoring. Data processing algorithm for detection of correct QRS information and elimination of bad quality signal is developed. Further, a comparison is made between our system and a commercial system the results showed a good agreement of our system with the commercial one.
