It is well-known that Japanese modern literature is influenced by colonialism in our old time as the empire of Japan, we often know which many writers in those days, for example, SATHO HARUO's works on Taiwan, tend to such a colonialism remarkably. Then we have a perspective that SOSEKI's novels were as good as all of them. This study is an attempt whick there were numbers of literary writings in Japan, the latternation state, and how they had a great influence upon any Japanese text, as both nation formation and state formation make progress. This in an essay which I studied the relation between his novels and colonialism, focusing on "HIGANSUGIMADE" as one of the latter trilogy through SOSEKI's literature.
